Operation KeepSafe™ Awareness Day - 10/20/21
|
A significant number of people living with Dementia leave their homes each year, usually going somewhere with intent, but ultimately lose their way. How do we keep our loved ones safe? Nearly 190,000 critical wandering events occur each year that cause a search and rescue. Additionally, almost 63,000 of those people are tragically never found, or not found alive. Help us raise awareness for these traumatic events, and share with families how they can take steps to lessen elopement and critical wandering risks. Join us in promoting our Operation
KeepSafe™ program.
