The Dementia Society of America (DSA) has 3 primary mission-related activities. (1) First and foremost we focus on education and awareness. This includes connecting people to local resources and sending them valuable information about Dementia to caregivers, folks living with Dementia, and the public at-large. (2) We help underwrite meaningful non-medical therapy events to to those living in Special Care Units across the
US/Canada, such as music, the arts, movement and touch. (3) Lastly, DSA recognizes caregivers and innovators in the Dementia community. We are volunteer-led; we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we exist solely through the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
