National KeepSafe™ Day & Month!
|
Hundreds of thousands of people living with Dementia elope their homes (leave undetected) each year, usually going somewhere with intent. Yet many lose their way. Nearly 190,000 critical wandering events escalate to a professional search and rescue. Additionally, almost 68,000 of those people are tragically never found or not found
alive. How do we keep our loved ones safe? Help us raise awareness for these traumatic events, and share with families how they can take steps to lessen elopement and critical wandering risks. Join our Facebook Live event on National KeepSafe Day, October 20th, 10:20 - 10:30 AM ET, when we will Remember & Reflect.
